Getting Vines to Grow On and Around Your House with Trellises
Almost everything in your garden seems to be growing properly and to your satisfaction, with the exception of the vines and climbing plants that you are trying to cultivate. This stubborn greenery never seems to grow quite where you want it to, and if you didn’t want it to grow on the walls of your house, it would be up to the roof by now. There is a simple solution to this problem, though. You need to train the vines to grow in the right direction using trellises, forcing them to grow in the manner you desire.
It can be nearly impossible to get vines and other wandering
plants to grow in the configuration that you would want to design, and
even if
you can make them grow at least partially in the right direction, they
often
become tangled, making them difficult to trim and organize. By using garden trellises,
you are not only
training the plants to grow in a particular direction; you are keeping
them
neat and organized with little if any tangling, meaning no need to sort
and
restructure the design constantly.
If
you love ivy and other vines but can’t stand the hassle they
usually cause, trellises
are just the thing for you.
